Colombia confirma la participación en el campeonato Mundial juvenil de levantamiento de pesas, a realizarse en Kosice Eslovaquia.
El certamen reservado para la categoría Sub -17 se desarrollará del 17 al 22 de septiembre.
Antioquia, Valle del Cauca y Bogotá serán la base de los equipos que en total suman 6 clasificados, 4 mujeres y 2 hombres. La escogencia se hizo de acuerdo a los resultados arrojados en el campeonato Nacional Sub 17, realizado a principios de julio en la ciudad de Medellín.
El grupo deportivo saldrá desde Bogotá hacia territorio Europeo este sábado 15 de septiembre.
El Juez Internacional 1ra categoría, Diego Germán Martínez Guarnizo representará al país en este Campeonato Mundial, como Referee IWF (International Weightlifting Federation).
